REY SILO MÁXIMO DE MAGAYA

The MÁXIMO of REY SILO Refined with MAGAYA from Cider sourced from Llagar El Gobernador is a specially refined MÁXIMO with a minimum aging period of two months. It is entirely covered with "Magaya," which is the pulp of cider apples that have been pressed to obtain the Asturias PDO cider.

Once the "Magaya" is extracted from the presses, it is immediately frozen and only thawed when covering the cheeses, causing a rehydration of the cheeses, leading to alcoholic fermentation inside.

The paste of the MÁXIMO of REY SILO Refined with MAGAYA cider is white, dense, and creamy.

In the rind, it preserves remnants of the Magaya with which it has been refined. In the mouth, it has a taste of dairy and Asturian natural cider, with a fruity aftertaste of alcoholic aromas.

Nutritional values per 100 gram serving: Calories 318 kcal, Fat 28.16 g (of which Saturated 18.69g), Cholesterol 25.8 mg, Sodium 0.95 mg, Carbohydrates 1.46g (of which Sugars 0g), Proteins 19.2g, Salt 0.95g.

Raw whole cow's milk, rennet, pressed cider apple, and salt.

 

Refrigerated. To enjoy this cheese at its best, consume it within 30 days after opening. Once opened, we recommend wrapping the cheese in its food paper and storing it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
